NOTE: If you are growing vegetables year-round there will be some carry over of cool-season crops into warm weather, for example artichokes, which can be put in from transplants in March and harvested in June, or globe onions, which are planted from seeds in November and harvested in late May or June, and strawberries which are also planted in November and harvested throughout spring into early summer.
I planted Kuta Squash for years – buying the seeds from Park Seed Co. a few years ago Park discontinued the seeds. Does anyone have a source for Kuta Squash seeds?
They are the best tasting and hardy squash I have had — oblong about 10″ in length and 4″ diameter — a light green color — almost and almond taste and can be eaten with a dip, in salads, grilled, pan fried, baked — they do not have the “green” taste of zucchini.
I’d buy any Kuta Squash seeds that anyone has.
