Aphid Anarchy
Question from Jess:
My team is once again struck with a WWPD?(What Would Pat Do) question. We are 100% organic gardeners and the aphids are putting up a heck of a fight. We’ve hosed off the plants in the morning and diligently sprayed. Yet, they thrive. Do you have any other organic remedies??
Thanks again for being all things amazing and the human Google of gardening!!
Answer from Pat:
Lady bugs from your local nursery are the TOTAL answer. Chill them in refrig. Sprinkle garden. Apply at dusk in small amounts low on afflicted plants. They will walk up during the night, laying eggs and also consuming aphids. Even if they fly away the next day not to worry.
