Cool-season flowers peak in April. Knowledgeable gardeners plant these in fall, and by now their gardens are overflowing with flowers.  If you didn’t do this don’t try to play catch-up by planting spring flowers now; it’s too late. You’ll get another chance next fall. Instead, get out and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. Go on garden tours, visit botanical gardens, tour old neighborhoods, gather ideas, and jot down the names of plants you want to grow.
